Supervisors

Function: The section shall provide a means for discussion and cooperation among library media supervisors, and shall support the aims and purposes of SCASL. The meetings are the primary way to disseminate current information from SCASL, the State Department of Education, and vendors to one point of contact in each district.

Chair: Christy James

Composition: The Supervisors Section Committee is comprised of a Chairperson and members selected by the chair. The goal is to have one member from each district. 

Chairperson: The Supervisors Section Committee Chairperson is selected by the SCASL President.

Duties:

- Provides a means for discussion and cooperation among school library supervisors of the state and works for the purposes set forth by SCASL.

- Informs the Executive Board of issues relevant to the profession.

Current Activities:

Planning the meeting dates for the school year.
