SCASL Media Specialist of the Year

The Media Specialist of the Year Award honors a full-time school library media specialist who has made an outstanding contribution to school library media service in South Carolina. Nominees are judged on the basis of exemplary quality library media programs, collaborations with classroom teachers, and active membership in SCASL and related organizations. The first award was presented in 1986.
