South Carolina Education Associations

 

Function: The Advocacy Committee promotes the need for  library media specialists, school library media centers and their programs.

Composition: The Advocacy Committee is composed of an Advocacy Committee Chairperson and members chosen by the chair.

Chairperson: The Advocacy Committee Chairperson is selected by the SCASL President.

Duties:

- Advocate for library media specialists, school library media centers and their programs.

- Inform the membership of issues impacting school media programs.

- Provide tools to members to be advocates for the profession.
